So I know that UV light causes sunburns
And this light I’m looking at says it has UV

Just an FYI, that light has poor par distribution. It wasn’t tested with water in the tank and there is roughly a 300 par drop off from directly under the light to 12 inches from center. It might burn corals directly under the light while not being able to grow corals 12 inches from center.

It is low intensity (only one bead), and UVA, which is partially visible (380-400 nm). UVB is the dangerous UV. It is there because corals can use this wavelenghth, but also causes fluoresce, making your corals look pretty.
