Context: my tank is a Waterbox 20 Cube. It is lit with an AI Prime 16HD. I have a 425 GPH Hydor Koralia Nano circulation pump (will swap out with a wavemaker in a few weeks). I got a Hammer coral today and I am wondering if this is a good placement. It is pretty closed up right now, I moved it around a lot

Don’t mind the Hair Algae at the bottom. I am trying to figure out how to get it off of that plate. Let’s just call it an in-tank refugium

Possibly. My hammers and torches seems to prefer less light, probably in the 100-125 PAR range - so I have them placed in the lower 1/3 to 1/2 of my tank. You can always try it there and if it starts bleaching move it down.

I think it’ll be fine as long as the light isn’t overpowering. All of mine are in the upper half of my 65 gallon under 150 W metal halide with no issue. It would be a case of watching it and see what happens

i place mine on the bottom with medium to low flow, seems it doing good.

When you say the bottom do you mean like in the sand? I just ordered one but don't want it stinging other corals so looking for best place for it..
