Is this green bubble algae?

Sorry about the poor quality! Can I remove the plug holder and remove the algae??

Yes It looks like bubble algae. It should be pretty easy to remove. I would use my finger nail to gently remove them without popping them. You could also use tweezers. If you can do this out of the tank it would be better

yep, suck them bubbles out with your sand vac or hose as you scrape them off.

I noticed while doing my tank clean up from the vermited snail I had everywhere that I also have bubble algae. I have never had luck with the emerald crab route on past tanks so not sure I even want to try it again.
