Hi folks,

Am i developing green coralline? I tried to scrap some off the dry rock and nothing comes off. My snails just go pass any bright green spots.

Any help is appreciated!

PS - my clown fish seems to love my torch coral, may have to get another one next to it so the black and white clown can have one too.

My guess is basic diatom bloom. How old is the tank?

Green coraline algae is kind of rare in aquariums, IMHO.

I think a lot of dry rock set ups turn green. Here is mine after a couple weeks when it was new

I had green coralline in my tank when the lighting was too low. Once I raised the lighting to over 125 PAR, all of the green coralline died off.

My guess is that what you're seeing is just normal, green film algae.

It just kinda went away. I actually lowered my intensity of Radion and there are still some of it not much.
