I tried to research it and it doesn't look like the other photos but I can't think what else it would be. Any ideas?

It's the colour of mint chocolate chip ice cream, and some flakes broke off when I swirled the shells around.

If it is coralline, will it be okay dipped in RO briefly or should I avoid that?

Thanks!

If it’s encrusting sounds likely to be coralline. I usually get some green spots before the purple takes over.

I would be surprised if a quick dip would kill it but coralline will propagate in the tank regardless.

I have yet to see a green coralline dominant tank so I think likely it all gets purple-fied eventually

Thanks! I will go ahead and add it to the tank, then! :)
