Just confirming this is green hair algae and best way to beat it. I’ve tried an urchin, turbo snails, lawnmower blenny, manual removal, chemipure elite, reduced feeding, reduced lighting, and flux rx. Any ideas? Showing 0 nitrates and 0 phosphates on tests.

Yes that’s 100% green hair algae, try a sea hair to remove it, but be warned they only eat green algae and will starve to death if it runs out!!

Did you start with dry rock? Because your pics look like what I have going on. Two year old tank, dry rock and hair algae in the spots where Corilline won't grow. Like in the shadowed nooks and crannies. Tried all you have tried, but It's still a problem. I use an electric toothbrush with some success, but it comes back.

I think it's Phosphate bound up in the rock. I think I just have to wait it out.
