Worth just turning off the light? Also, My tank is in the middle to end of cycling, should I wait it out or just see what happens?Looks like it. Judging by the color of your rock, it's just the beginning. Welcome to the ugly phase!
Manage parameters, ensure proper clean up crew, dose live phyto, reduce white lighting. All some things that can be helpful.
if you have no corals you don't need light. If you wait 3 or 4 months, your tank will develop biodiversity and micro fauna so when you turn the lights on and add corals your ugly phases will be much more manageable.Worth just turning off the light? Without any coral the light isn't doing anything.Worth just turning off the light? Also, My tank is in the middle to end of cycling, should I wait it out or just see what happens?

So I adjusted the light schedule, basically turned it off.Without any coral the light isn't doing anything.
Skimmer can be going anytime now but if it is a new skimmer there will be a break in period for a week where it will just foam and overflow the cup. Most just let it run with the cup off till it breaks in and calms down.So I adjusted the light schedule, basically turned it off.
I have not yet setup my skimmer, would it be beneficial to do this now?
