Is this guy dangerous?

Do I need to get rid of this or harmless? Been surfing my glass for a week now. Have only seen this one. Knocked him off he was right back on the glass. Try to ignore the asterina star outbreak (that's been going on for years without hurting anything except coraline coverage).

I figured it's a nudi of some sort and it has not shown any interest in corals BUT I don't want to wake up with 1000 of them. I thought about throwing it in the sump but there are 3 pumps in there (skimmer, media reactor and return) it night get chopped up in.
