Is this guy's guide correct?

A small pygmy angel will be fine in your tank, but it might nip at your corals.

Truth is you will not know until you try it. Then as it matures it may change and start nipping. Keep it fed!

I have a yellow tail pygmy. I ve never seen him nip at any of my acros or any other corals.

It might only nip on softies right?

It has potential to nip everything, I have a coral beauty that nips sps and lps but not zoas and stuff like that. I don't have any try soft corals like leathers and stuff. You have to keep then full to alleviate it.

I had a coral beauty for several years who never nipped at any of my corals. You're going to get a different answer from everyone. Some centropyges do, some centropyges don't. :)

You couldn't pay me to put an angel in my tank!

Yeah, if I could do it over again I wouldn't have one. I have had this one for just over two years. It is to fast an smart to catch, won't go into fish traps, and tearing down the entire tank isnot worth it.

I've had 3 coral beauties over the years and they all were pretty good citizens. One of my favorite fish. BTW, mine were almost solid blue/purple with very little orange on them. Not sure if it means anything but maybe they are from a different local and have slightly different eating habits.

Mine started nipping at my favorite walindii colony three days ago, here it is today. Fish traps are being set as we speak.
