I was wondering if this is hair algae in my hob refugium? Or is it healthy algae growth in this department?

Doesn't appear to be growing on anything. Long and stringy, Cheato? If thats the only place its growing, I'd keep it there, its cleaning up the water for you.

i have chaeto, Dragons breath, and a couple man groves, Also have miracle mud under the sand. The algae thats growing on the glass is the one im concerned about.

on the chaeto there seems to be a clear bubble growing on it

I'd still leave it. If thats the only place its growing.

I would just let it do its thing, but spray the mangroves with RO water on its leaves. and the for the clear bubbles, just Oxygen getting put in your tank from the algae which is good.

very nice. wish i had more space to add more. Does that make a big difference in your water quality? Ive noticed my man grove is starting to look burnt at the tip. is that recoverable?

and what lights do u use? im using a regular led light meant for fresh water aquariums. Would that be efficient enough?

Mangroves escret salt through their leaves, hence why u mist them to remove the salt if not, you get the burnt look which means its dying.

I just you a white LED flood light from home depot and works fine for me

Do these look revivable? For the burnt leaves should i cut them off? or are they done?

i need change the light because its placed as a hood and the mangroves are growing too tall..the light is actually crushing on top of them. The man grove on the left (I think its the red mangrove) is getting bent.

The Black man grove on the right is the one that looks burnt. smh i need to step my refugium game up. lol

Those are both red mangroves, black mangroves seeds/pods don't look like that. Try looking to getting a reptile lamp and just hang it.
