Is this hammer done for?

I accidentally crushed the skeleton of my 24k hammer. Is this done for? Or should i hold on to it?

It’s not done for. Keep it and see how it does. For all you know it may recover and do better than before.

I glued some of the skeleton pieces back together making sure not to get any on the tissues. As if now, its still retracted. When the brown jelly starts to appear, into the trash can it goes. But i hope it survives., I’ve only had for 45 minutes before i crushed it

How did you make out with it? Did it open up yet ?

I accidentally did the same thing to mine. I did like you did. I glued the pieces back together and it worked out fine. Mine is now grown 2 new heads since then. Keep an eye on it but I think you will be fine.
