Is this hydroids?

What is this growing on my glass? Have these showing up on my glass.

Hard to tell from the pics... Most of the medusae stage hydroids will show as mostly white with 8 legs not much larger than a pin head... the second pic is the clearest and due to the banding on the legs and what appears to be 5 legs would lead me to believe its a baby brittle star fish... again only a guess from a novice

These start out small and grow out. It’s like runners growing out from the center. Smallest area is about an inch over all and the largest is about 2” now. I did find this in the sand bed and it looked like a cluster of dandy lions Sucked those spots out right quick. But they appearing on the glass now. I will try to get a better picture after work.

based on the last pics I can see features characteristic of some hydroids.

Does it look like this? This is a type/ stage of a type of hydroid

That’s it I believe. Now the next thing is how do deal with it. Any suggestions?
