Is this ICH on my new clownfish?

Just got a new clownfish for my nano tank. Looks like white spots. No other fish or plants in there yet.

From the picture though, yes - the fish has a moderate case of marine ich, Cryptocaryon. You are going to need to treat that. If there are no other animals (invertebrates) in the tank, you might consider hyposalinity:


If the tank has invertebrates in it already, you would either need to move those to a new tank and run hyposalinity, or move the clownfish out and treat it for ich with copper in a hospital tank.

There are no other fish or inverts in the tank.
