Saw this today and I wanted to ask everyone what they thought. I swear the spots weren't there yesterday
He's the only fish in the tank, he's been in there for about 3 weeks. Water has been stable and he shows no signs of stress. He's not rubbing up against anything. The only thing would be that when he eats. When I put the food in he runs away from it, like it scares him, he waits for the food to come to him and he picks away at the food from his spot. He still eats a fair amount, belly looks full.
I messed up and I didn't quarantine in the beginning. Didn't think I needed to with the first fish (little did I know). The QT tank is being cycled for the CUC I was planning on adding next. Based on how long the DT took to cycle, I think the QT a week away from being fully cycled.
What should I do?
- Ride it out as long as he keeps eating?
- Wait until the QT cycles, move him over to the QT and treat with copper or something?
- Dump the current water in the QT and go with the BRS method of water changes every 3 or so days and treat in the QT with meds?
- Treat in the DT with invert safe meds?
- If I move him to the QT, can I put the CUC in the DT for a fallow period while the clown gets treated in the QT?
