That actually looks more like skin flukes.

Do the spots seem to move around?

I would recommend a 5min FW dip, and see if they come off. If so then you can treat with prazipro or general cure.

If no flukes detach it will be back to the drawing board.

Unsure I just noticed it yesterday. I will check for changes when I get off today

Glad you found your way here and figured out the photo uploads. @Mblake

I mentioned Flukes before... Follow Their directions... they know what they are talking about or I never would have pointed you here.

P.S. Welcome to your new home for all questions, that facebook group is a joke... I wouldn't trust 95% of the replies I read there. I swear I'm just there to read the comments and shake my head at the lack of educated advice. smh.

This forum is the best thing that has ever happen to me since I started my reef. Hope you stick around. There is always honest, helpful, and most of all, ACCURATE advice.

I did the dip in a black bowl. I dont see anything in the water or on the bottom of bowl. The raised spots on the outside of skin are gone but you can see where they were.

We're the spots gone when you got home? Or they came off during the dip?

I still think you are dealing with skin flukes. It looks like the spots are moving around based on the two pictures.

They also increased in number from this am to pm.

Did you dip the fish in fresh RO for a full five minutes?

About 3 mins, the first time. I just did it again for the full 5. He kept going to the bottom of the bowl like he was eating something. Still nothing in the bowl after

Day after dip, everything is gone. No spots ,no nothing.
Have you treated the tank with prazipro yet? This is indicative of flukes. So I would still treat the tank with prazipro.
