I tried to take some pics but my camera is not that great. The spots are by his tail fin, pectoral fin and behind his gill all on the same side.

Resembles velvet more than ich. Did you recently acquire this fish or add something else to the tank?

Ich could cause cloudy eyes, it weakens their immune system and eyes are an easy place to see an infection.

How long have the spots been there? Could also be substrate and injured the one eye. Freshwater dip could help make sure its not flukes and give some palliative care to ich.

I have had him for almost 2 months and he has had this for only a couple days. I have added some snails and corals a few weeks ago that i got froma friend hw hasn't had anything with his fish.

This is velvet you're dealing with not Ich unless you're seeing salt like grains attached to his body in addition then you could be dealing with both.

Unfortunately, anything wet added to the tank can host these parasites.

Is your fish still eating? If so, I'd feed aggressively and then conduct a FWD to provide temporarily relief. Then QT 3-4 weeks with Copper. You'll need to run your DT fallow for minimum of 6 weeks for velvet. Do you have any other fish?
