My clown has white spots all over and I don’t know if it is ick or not. Please help!

Make sure the pics and video are in white lighting.

I don’t have a video right now, I am out doing errands. I will get one later and post it

I’m new to this… Do you quarantine in this scenario?
If you're going the quarantine route it should be done before being introduced to the tank.

Does look like ich. Are you following this set of guidelines?

The clown has been in quarantine for a little over a month now
That makes it easier.

I'm going to assume this was observational quarantine only and it has not gone through a copper treatment?

Reminder that your QT tools should All be kept separate from your normal system tools. Cross contamination happens all the time and isn't fun.

I have not dosed copper

Should I be dosing copper?

Best first action is probably to read the current protocol thread above that @Jekyl linked for you.

If you don't have one, now's the right time to get a Hannah colorometer for copper.

That protocol works. You can bypass the early observation as you already know you have ick.

Bring the levels up to therapeutic over the course of a few days. Hold them for the correct time and bring them down.
