The tang shows the most pronounced and best is to take pics under white lighting for best i.d.
This is
likely cryptocaryon which is Marine Ich and a freshwater dip will offer temporary relief IF fish is not breathing heavily. After dip, You will need to place fish in Quarantine tank and treat with Coppersafe or Copper Power at therapeutic level 2.25-2.5 For a FULL 30 days (do not interrupt this 30 day period) monitored by a reliable Copper Test kit such as Hanna Brand- No API brand. Also monitor Ammonia levels while in quarantine with a reliable test kit and add aeration during treatment using an air stone.
The display tank will have to be kept fishless (FALLOW) for 6-8 weeks to assure the existing parasites go through their life cycle without a host fish and die off
A quarantine tank can be as simple as a starter kit from Walmart which most of the needed essentials.

I knew I had ich in system for some time, but it was manageable with UV until it broke badly month ago and I had my first losss-sunburst anthias. What size tank will be appropriate for quarantine. I have 2clowns, foxface, white tail tang, bicolor Blenny , leopard wrasse and watchman goby. (I have fluval 13.5 gallon that had been used for quarantine previously, will that be enough?)

20 long or preferably 29 gallon. If budget allows- 40 breeder

It will not be big enough.

Petco has their sale going so you can get a 40g for $60

What kind of non absorbing sand would you recommend so wrasse feel comfortable, or any sand in a small container will work?

Fiji pink is fine - just not coarse

I would discard the sand after the hospital period is done - OR - only use it for QT, etc in the future
