In the morning he has these spots on him but then later in the day they are gone and then back again the next morning. I am treating with coppersafe for a week now but no change still has them in the morning

The spots seem a bit large for ich, but the coming and going of the spots is a classic symptom of ich, so I’d say that confirms it.
Are you at a full dose of coppersafe of 2.5 ppm? What test kit are you using?

I’m using API copper test kit. And dose is 2.0 it says should be 1.5 to 2.0 for dose of coppersafe

The API test is really difficult to read correctly, The Coppersafe dose on a Hanna checker runs 2.25 to 2.5 ppm
