All, I just got a used 2016 XR15w G4 and came with a power adapter than looks different from my 2017 G4, is this the original adapter?

Looks like it.
I would send a Pic to ecotech Marine and ask them to verify via their website

ecotech hasn’t gotten back with the answer yet but if any members have the same light that was manufactured in 2016 can verify would be greatly appreciated it.

So just spoke to ecotech and was told the adapter is legit but all I found online is slightly different. Not that I don’t trust them but just curious

What's the output voltage and amperage? Your photo is too grainy... if it's 36v 5.55a, you're golden...

Plus it etm verified it, I would rest assured knowing it's fine.

Edit, I just read it's for an xr15.... disregard the first part... if etm said it's good... then its good

The xr15s are 24v.
