Bought some chateu today and just noticed this little guy tankgled in it. What is it??

Asterina starfish. Good or bad is up to the individual as there are a lot of varying reports on them. They make great harlequin shrimp food though!

My experience, they were munching on zoas so I got rid of them very quickly. Others have no problems but they can quickly reach plague proportions.

Asterina star. I'd smoke it if I was you. Some are harmless and some will smoke your stony corals. Usually the darker ones I got rid of one yesterday during a "Bayer dipping moment". You don't need it.

Ive had them go after my zoas too. Very annoying things sometimes
