Is this nem splitting?

Hi folks, here with another question

I recently got 2 rose bubble tip anemone, as my LFS called them that I will assume that's what they are.

It's been two days since I got them.

One look perfectly normal and hasn't move at all since the spot it found in the beginning. The other however look more moving and uneasy. Then about 12hour after adoption it look like it may be splitting. I hear they may do that during the stress of moving tanks.

Let me know what you guys think it's been about a full day since it started looking like that.

I would try to put them on the rock work if you can. Also, looking at the sand, the tank looks very new. They usually like an established tank, they are kind of quirky

How long since your cycle? What are your water parameters? Did you drip acclimate them?

This is the sixth month that the tank has been running, but the sand was added last month I had a bare bottom until then.

I dripped them to acclimate. One feet is kind of off and the other foot has clung on to the same rock for the past day or so.

Looks to me it might be splitting but I have no experience nor knowledge enough to be 200% sure. Will be on the lookout to observe though.

looks to be upside down and a bit unhappy. try flipping it over and placing it on the rockwork to see if it will find a spot and take hold. good luck.

It actually came back to the original position. Not sure if it's splitting now haha these things are so weird they do all kinds of crazy things.

They generally split with their basal disc attached to something. Then the two halves move away from each other.
