I just got a pair of Clowns yesterday and they seem to be doing fine. The one is swimming Kind of funny at times. I'm worried this might be a sign of something to come. What do you guys think?

Video says it’s private. In any case, as they’re establishing their roles there’s going to be a lot of violence, or what appears to be violence. Especially running at each other.

Water parameters:

Temp - 79°F
Salinity - 1.025
pH - 8.0
Ammonia - 0ppm
Nitrites - 0ppm
Nitrates - 5ppm

They came from the same tank at my LFS. I floated the bag for 30 mins to temp acclimate, then emptied them into a small container and drip acclimated till the water doubled, drained half the water and let it double again, then added them to my QT. I left the lights off until this morning. I fed them some frozen rotifers in the morning, they ate it and later gave them so PE mysis pellets which they also ate.

As long as they’re eating they’re going to be fine. As I just posted in another thread, clowns are notorious for acting weird. Be aware that the more dominant (female) clown will try to prevent the other (male) clown from eating so he doesn’t grow as fast. You may have to make an extra effort to feed that submissive clown.

I started dosing Cupramine yesterday as a preventative measure. I don't trust the LFS I got these fish from.

My question is, do you think the missing parts of the fins are just from aggression from the larger clown? Will the fins ever fill in or grown back?
