Is this new or used?! Chempure elite

got myself chempure elite and it’s got fingerprints all over the bottle and some brown crap all over the inside is this normal? Is it used?

Dont think it was used but think it was miss handled a bit either while packaging or shipping. Zip tie is how they package it and you should rinse before use, but the fact there is some in the jar still would say you lost some product and would return to amazon for replacement

If I recall correctly there is usually a white paper seal on the container under the lid that you have to peel off. I could be wrong as I haven't bought in a couple years.

There is a white paper seal on top. The product should already be in the bag when opened. It will be moist, but it should definitely not look like that. The jar and the upper part of the bag and tie should be clean or fairly clean.

It was originally sold and shipped dry until a couple of years back.

The past couple of years they have sent it wet which I'm guessing was to cut down on the 'dust'. For the past couple of years, any of the CPE or CPB I've ordered from any location has been pre-rinsed, but I don't know what they rinse it in and do my own major rinsing.

However, I've had none come in that looked like the pic you show. Don't think I'd want to use it.

alittle update to yall, i got another shipped to me free of cost from amazon, the seal on the container wasnt broken looks brand new i opened it took the seal off and it looked pretty much the same so i guess they wet it and the " rust " compound leaches brown crap?

Was wondering the same thing myself... received three “dry”, one wet and nasty-looking. I doubt they check returns carefully.
