I have had a bit more algae than normal and my turban snails are starting to get covered. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

I’ve had mine get the same way, it’s just because they’re eating the algae off the rocks but not each other. I just pull them out of the the tank and scrub them with a clean toothbrush! Looks like they’re doing a great job on the rocks

Yes and no. I have never had that problem. You may have your white lights on to long and or feeding a lot. Try a tang.
