Hi.
I’m new to keeping mushroom corals and they’re doing pretty well so far. However, today I noticed the base on one of them is puffing up, almost as if it’s filling with water. Is that normal?

I think that that's a corallimorphian? And therefore not best suited to the LPS forum?

My mushroom anemones did that when they were light starved. They'd angle themselves to the light and "trumpet" if the light was too low.

Thanks! I realized that mushrooms aren’t lps after I made this thread lol

Looks hungry
A piece of mysis, brine shrimp or reef rounds will make it happy

That particular mushroom actually repositioned itself so is now the happiest one. There was one though in a terrible spot and it fell off today. I’m going to position it in an entirely different spot, so it can spread on the other side.
