I am not concerned with it not extended, as the lights had just come on. It looks gorgeous when the polyps are extended, but this is the body of it. It is just a frag, but it looks like its cutting in half. Is this normal?

side note, don't mind the substrate on it. My goby likes to make sure to drop it all over my soft corals lol

... plus when they ‘inflate/deflate’ at times, they can look better or worse than other times. Just look for slow but steady growth and health over time, and not continued deterioration. You’ll know the difference. Good flow, adequate lighting, and they will prove to be hardy. Best wishes!
