Is this normal for Kryptonite Candy Cane?

I recently bought a bright green candy cane frag online, yet it looks nothing what I seen in LFS and online. Just curious if it is normal or okay for this coral to get this fluffy. Mid day when my lights reach peak this coral is like a spaceship balloon. I put my 2in. Scolly next to it for reference.

That's darned puffy for a candy cane. Kinda wonder if it's something else, cut weird.
