Is this normal for lawnmower blenny?

Hi, I just got my blenny today and noticed that the second half of his body is very very pale and has no color. Is this normal? Thanks.

Yes, they typically have a whiteish/ivory underside. Sometimes you'll see some colors in it - other times not.

Sorry he was moving fast. The bottom is his head and the top is his tail. The 2 white spots a little down is the end of his head

I've never personally seen a blenny like that, but if he's acting fine I'd say it's just coloration - they do colour up and colour down with camouflage.

Yeah they'll probably know exactly what kind of blenny they got in

As long as he has plenty to eat he should be fine. All the ones I've owned are dark camo on top and light camo on the underside, and I had one with a whiteish underside with pink and purple coloring.

Yeah I had him to clean up a lot of algae so he has plenty to eat )
