Hi, I just got my blenny today and noticed that the second half of his body is very very pale and has no color. Is this normal? Thanks.

I'd need to see the whole fish - I can't tell which end is up!
Sorry he was moving fast. The bottom is his head and the top is his tail. The 2 white spots a little down is the end of his head

Is this what it looked like in the store? There are lots of variations of algae blennies...

I've never personally seen a blenny like that, but if he's acting fine I'd say it's just coloration - they do colour up and colour down with camouflage.
Should I call the store and see what they think?

As long as he has plenty to eat he should be fine. All the ones I've owned are dark camo on top and light camo on the underside, and I had one with a whiteish underside with pink and purple coloring.
Yeah I had him to clean up a lot of algae so he has plenty to eat :))
