Hi had this anemone for like 2 weeks now and j feed it once a week but after my water change today around when my night lights for the tank came on he became smaller. The 1st photo is what he was normally the second is what he shrunk down to.

2nd picture. Its a RBTA the lights were still out with this picture. I just turned then on real quick so you could see it. Also it was more deflated than this but it’s went up a little more.

It is normal for them to change shapes, deflate sometimes, do different things.

I don't see anything wrong.

He could be adjusting himself in the rocks, he could be getting ready to poop.

Without knowing if there was a salinity shift or temp change or anything else. I say it's normal nem behavior.

Just observe him for a few days.

Everytime i do a water change i keep the salinity from the 1.024 to 1.026 range so idk if a swing of .001 is harmful or not still kinda new to this reef tank stuff. My tempature varies from 76-78.
