Is this normal

so my tank has Been set up for 6 months and cycled I have few fish just started to get brown alge tankeing over so at first I thought too much lighting I went from 8 hrs to 6 hrs that just made it grow more in some Spots I am getting coralline algae

What are your nitrates and phosphates at? What do you do to reduce them? What's tank flow like? Do you use RO/DI water to make up salt?

It's relatively common for new tanks to go through hell for the first year....brown algae, hair algae, cyano, you name it. The tank eventually settles down and these issues tend to go away.
 
+1 to what redfishbluefish said. Looks like you need to use a turkey Baster on your rocks and it will eventually work itself out

+1...would have been my response as well. Likely just new tank "issues" but the things Paul asked about are important and could be contributing.
