Is this normal?

I've noticed this a couple of times on 2 differant frags.
The polyps have something coming out of the mouth.
I took a couple of pics, but i'm not the best with my point and shoot camera.
This usually happens in the middle of the day.
I have not seen it when I'm feeding the tank.

They are palythoas.

It looks like a "normal" zooxanthellae expulsion. My palys/zoas do this on occasion. It's not unheard of or necessarily unhealthy for them to "poop" out a buildup of excess algae cells.
