I recently switched to Aquaforest Reef Salt and I'm surprised to see how dirty it is. I've reached out to Aquaforest directly and didn't received a response. After mixing the salt I was left with floating particles and a residue in the mixing container. I would like to know from other Aquaforest customers if this is normal or did I get a bad batch. Also the bucket doesn't have a batch code printed on it.

I dont think this is a result of a bad batch, it does tend to create residue when mixed at room temperature or in cold water (Better if is warmed), but it does go away after a couple hours.

They are stamping the codes on the rim of the bucket cap (Black ink).

Have you tried contacting them through their FB group message?, they usually reply in a day or so.

Best of luck.
