Shrimps molt regularly. I don’t know the timeline but I have 3 types of shrimps (8 total) and I can’t tell which one has molted exactly. If I could guess, I’d say once a month or even longer. It’s not a bad thing to molt as it’s them growing but it’s a stressful ordeal for them and they will typically hide for a couple of days.

I have lost 2 blood shrimps. that look like it was half way through a molt. So like said above it is stressful for them.
