this coral is growing but it looks like a bubble growing on the side.

I have the same coral, no idea what it is or never looked it up as the wife bought it and it puffs up while the lights are on. This is a couple months ago and grows fast as hell

Its the coral thats growing like that as far as I know. Can a sponge gro with the coral like that?
Yes, the sponge can grow over the coral. You can attempt to scrape some of it off so it doesn't grow any larger on the coral.

I agree on sponge. Am I seeing the start of Dino in your tank ?

Lets find out. Does it loosen and blow away with gentle bursts from a turkey baster?

So I hope this is the right thread? Is this normal...I bought a lobo or trachy several months ago then I had a massive gha outbreak; been using revive and it's cleared up nicely but the coral haven't responded well from the heavy doses... Can anyone tell me I'd this coral looks sick... There's sum brownb spots on it and it looks shrunk up...idk it's my first one and still a newbie to the hobby... Thx

I don't have a baster so I used my 5ml testing syringe and it does blow away.
Ok - see how long it takes to return. If overnight, its' dino. I can then give you a recommendation to get rid of it
