I have noticed over the last few weeks that the skeleton of my Hammer is gradually turning white. The polyps look great but the base is turning. Not sure if this is normal or not. When i received it, the base was brown and pink. Now the pink has mostly turned white. Its placement is about the top of the bottom 1/3 of the tank. All parameters look ok to me. Any ideas? Thanks

well, thats how mine looked when it started to grow a new head, is yours growing?

keep an eye on it could be stress of the move and different parameters from the stores tank to yours.
Ive had it for almost a month now. Could it still be stress?

mag could be closer to 1340 its little low .
Yea i know. Normally it is. Not sure if i screwed up this last test or not.
thats normal, its growing.
Thats what i thought at first. It is growing has gotten a lot fuller. Just worried me that all the pink that was there in the beginning has receded and changed to white

Most of mine are white and have a garden of them
