I have a 20g fish tank with 2 ocelarris clownfish and 1 yellow watchman goby. Is it okay to add a firefish and 2 neon gobies or is this too much?

you aren't going to surpass your cycle's ability with fish additions, it's disease risks that limit how fast you can stock a tank. (the disease controls selected have their own observation and treatment time already known per system)

if you are skipping disease preps you can still add them/likely to die in 9 mos we can see directly in reads from the disease forum today, but your cycle is not an issue. make sure you are acclimating them correctly. new additions to tanks typically take 8-9 mos to express disease if they brought it in or caught it from the current system, the risk is a delayed issue of disease not an immediate cycling issue

This is a question that people have been asking for years. , it really bugs me when people respond with the stereotypical answers to try to scare you into thinking you need to do X, Y, and Z in order to be successful. I would recommend watching a couple of bulk reef supplies videos on adding fish.
