Is this paint okay to use for a canopy?

Hello
About to paint a newly built pine flat board canopy for my DT...

Can I use this paint that I got from home Depot he said it is external use and waterproof ...will it have dangerous fumes or mold inhibitors that might in the future hurt the reef tank inhabitants?

While I'm certainly no scientist, I would think any paint, once fully cured would be fine?

I have used on the last several stands, am oil based enamel meant for appliances. Haven't had an issue, and that stuffs pretty volatile!

There will be nothing there that could hurt your tank after the paint is fully cured.

Just a quick note, If you can smell the new paint smell at all, it is still off gassing and not fully cured.

I painted the outer side with solid stain... Maroon color. Didn't smell at all!

The inner side of canopy I'll use krylon fusion white since krylon fusion spray can paint is reef safe and white can reflect light into DT.
Unsure if it'll work for wood.
Or maybe plastidip white?

Good idea?!

the old version of fusion that was made specifically for plastics was claimed to be reef safe...the newer "sticks to anything" formula i'm not sure about...i made my hood out of white pvc trimboard...

I'm leaning towards plastidip white...
Does it stick well with wood?
Once cured it's nothing but a rubber coating right... That'd bleed off sw that might splash on insides of the wooden hood?

Urethane enamel is best. Having stain, I can forsee this leaching or becomming chalky in time
