Is this plug safe to use? I dont have a spare

I've noticed the plug to my pacemaker is a little rusted on the pin, maybe a bit of salt creep? I'm not sure.
I dont have a spare wave maker/pump or a spare plug so I could do with knowing if it's safe to use this or best not to please?
Electrics are worrying so its unplugged atm, thank you in advance.

Yes can still use it, it will work fine. Get some light sand paper when stores open up and buff it off the prongs if you want, they’ll shine up

I'm not bothered about the aesthetics it's just the concern of a fire or electric shock to me or my kids....I guess my partner too hahaha

I would run that plug in my home as is, nice safety verification. If no water and salt or splashing is hitting the socket, and it’s gfci socket, all safe, it’s ok to buff it out to keep a nice contact surface if desired.

It’s only an aesthetic issue, there’s no worry of the plug causing a problem from that.
