Is this powerhead any good for 25g SPS

The reviews say that this is too powerful for their tank but theirs is freshwater. I have a 24” tank that is going to be SPS dominated.

I have had a good time with this one. 5 different channels or time zones. 4 different waves, 4 different power settings and a feeding mode. Doesn't do wifi or anything like that but certainly works and blew the hell out of my tank at max setting. I only ran it at 40%.

1000gph in 25 gal DT will give you 40x turnover rate. Most today would suggest 60x to 100x for SPS.

No powerhead that cheap is any good. That is just a rebranded type of Jebao - Chinese patent stealing knockoff, not to be confused with solid, fair trade companies who respect patents and intellectual property who have their stuff made in China... there is a huge difference.

If you want quality, check out a Tunze. They make some stuff for nanos that are not expensive. Some people like mp10 by EcoTech too, but I don't use them since I want them to last longer than they do. WAV too.
