We filled our first saltwater tank this evening for the first time. We have two Radion XR15 G4 lights. Is this interesting prism effect 'normal' ?

Thanks.

Woah that’s cool!!! None of my radions do that. My guess is maybe it is reflecting off of something???

That would be the only reason why I would get a Radion G4! :p
I love it! Very cool!

It’s probably a reflection from somewhere. I have the XR30 G4 Pros and they don't do that

I have however seen this from my Red Sea S650 were the sun catches the side of the glass and projects the prism

The good news (I guess) is that the prism effect went away after filling the tank completely. Thanks for all the replies.

Tank salinity measured 1.026 and I'm taking a water sample down to LFS to verify my refractometer calibration.

Had to have been from the light going through the glass.
At some point there had to be a exposed corner that the light was going through.
