Is this pvc cement good for our plumbing needs?

I'm using this to plumb return line for my 150g build.... is this ok? Using 1" pvc.

Or should i have got that regular pvc cement?

That would be ok, but you're going to have purple primer on all of your plumbing. Get a clear primerless all in one PVC cement instead.

I'm gonna paint everything black lol. I already bought this....

Other than color is there a difference in strength of bonding since the regular glue says regular and this says medium?

I'll be running say like 1400 gph....

You're not going to be running a pressured system so it'll be just fine.
