Yeah definitely a decent sized frag. Give it a few weeks a take a picture would like to see it after it colors up a bit. Hopefully I get a nice chunk like that that.

Years ago when I tried buying from them they shipped the expensive 1/4” nubs in little thin baggies and half popped and the ones that didn’t were pale as can be from the stress of everything. They did color back up after a while but once they go past a certain point, some frags just won’t turn around for so so long. But how can you ship these frags in such thin bags? I really hope they are not still doing this.

The frag I got from TSA arrived 7 hours after the FedEx “guaranteed” time of 10am (annoying FedEx!). But TSA had it well packed with multiple layers of thick bags, cooling pack, and nice big box. It came out of the box fully colored up and was fully healed, not fresh cut. Even after all my dips, brushing and re-plugging it never lost color and has tons of PE. My first order from TSA and I’m very impressed!

That’s a really nice frag! Did you see the colony they cut it from and did it have nice color? Was your frag colored up out of the bag and later lost color?

I didn’t see the mother. He said they aren’t letting anyone in the shop now, but I have been there before. My frag looked the same in the bag as it does now, and there was no shipping. It had no PE in the bag, but I’m pretty sure he had just cut it. I agree it’s a really nice frag, so I’m not too disappointed about the color, I just hope I can color it up.

Not to hijack angry bird thread but these are the frags of wicked tuna and rainbow blossom I got from RR just hanging on for a long time now

That is pretty much the color of my angry bird. Is that a phone pic? If so, which filter/lens?

It’s just a iPhone pic they look more bleached out with eye.

I can’t believe this is already happening. I’ve had the frag for 7-days and the top right branch, axial coralite is already shooting out the dreaded stn filament from tissue loss. The frag I got was a bit light/pale and I think came from LED tank. Mine is ATI 8-bulb with ReefBrite XHO. My parameters have been fairly stable. Slowly rising PO4 0.14 to 0.17 over 10-days. You can see this same frag on page-2 of this thread from 3-days ago. I’m thinking either it’s having a hard time adjusting to my lighting or maybe because my alk is higher than the RRU tank. Mine is 8.5-9 when I measure at the same time of day. That’s with API so it’s a bit of a guess. I have Hanna alk checker too which shows about the same, I just don’t use it as often as I do the API, almost daily. I’m not sure what the RRU water was in the bag.
My question is, do you guys think I should cut off they entire little branch or just leave it be for now?
I did reduce my lighting after seeing this.

Another thing I forgot to mention as a possibility, but I’m not sure this can actually happen.... my tank is in my home office where my kids played video games the last 3-days during Labor Day weekend, which I’m sure dropped the PH. I couldn’t even open windows because it was 110° out.
