Perhaps they’ll glow more tonight, but when my moonlight was on this morning, they didn’t look like they would glow, but they also weren’t very open. Thoughts? The other corals I ordered looked as expected (or better).

Try dosing iodine. Needs to be around .06. Long story and there is a thread on this. "Zoas not opening Solved" I added a few drops and within a day they opened and color came back. Been several months and the zoas are multiplying and some growing larger. I now test for iodine and keep around. 06 ppm. Using red sea test kit.

Literally just added these today, so I’ll give them time and then consider dosing. Thanks!

The stock photo is under blue lighting. Your tank seems to be primarily lit by white light. Blue lighting can substantially change the appearance of zoas and palys.

Yes, my blues were on this morning and they still didn’t look like that, but they weren’t very open either. I’ll see what they look like tonight when the actinics are on.

Ya those look like the same Zoas. Welcome to the world of buying corals online, photoshopped and pictures taken under 100% actinics.
Ah well, live and learn lol. The rest were great and the Duncan, which I thought had 2 heads, is much larger than the picture and has 5 heads!

It looks like the first photo from the vendor is lit with actnics only. And in your photos there appears to be a fair amount of white light.
