Is this red slime?

Some ppl say it's red algae and some say it's red slime and it's bad for the tank need help. It's only on top of the rock 125 gallon been having it for about 6 months

if you touch it does it rub off easily if it doesn't its not red slime also if it was red slime algae aka cyano it would be covering a lot more then the top of the rock

For 6 months, it would have probably spread more rapidly. Can you blow it off with a turkey Baster? If not, it may just be coralline.

I haven't tried to mess with it yet but if it comes off easily then it's red slime? And if it doesn't come off easy its normal? My uncle gave me some red cyano RX to remove it but wanted to make sure before I dose anything to my tank

If it comes off, most likely red slime, if not, then most likely coralline, which is good.
