I have a few small mats of this after winning my dino battle.
 
Yes sir, it is, maybe oscillatoria since it's common and looks like that. :)
 
I took it down a week ago after two months with no sign of the devils. Could have it back up in 5 minutes! I've looked at samples under the microscope every day since. :D. The cyano is a very small amount so I'm not doing anything to it. It's welcome as long as it keeps the dinos away !

Exactly my perspective. I occasionally get a bit here and there in the sand and on rocks. I blow it away and all is well. :D
