Hi. I ordered a package from Aquarium Depot (no negativity please as I have heard about them from several people now). The package came with a ricordea in it. Can someone please tell me if it is too late for this little guy?

im sorry but i dont see anything. if there was a ricordea on the rock it'd be there lol. the mushrooms that die usually melt. and disappear so i think that is the case here

Or they sent a rock glued to a plug. Same company sent a friend of mine a bad of rubble rock as coral once.

A better focused photo similar to your second picture would help. Otherwise it's hard to tell what we're looking at.

How old is the reef? It doesn't appear to be ready for coral due to the bad diatom that can be seen. Is the green thing a fake coral?
From the looks of your frag, I don't see a Ricordea at all.

Did it come in with cloudy water or was the water clear?(there is no ricordea in the picture you're posting) But if the water was cloudy its proof that at one point there was one there

It was clear
