I found a freshwater test kit, so I tested the water before the rodi, between the ro and di filters, and after. I have no ammonia until after the complete system. So I’m thinking the di resin is what needs replacing. Am I right or what is it I need to do?

But whats your tds?

Get yourself a pool chlorine kit. Free and total, then test again so you can be sure its something worth looking at.

Tds before is 128. After is 10
Chlorine is 0.5 before After is 0
Total chlorine or free?
Well that means you have chlorine or chloramines in your system. You should get a carbon block rated for chloramines and that should take care of your issue.
The standard spectrapure carbon filters are good for low levels of chloramine.

That is total and free. I have replaced my carbon block filter I believe last month when I had noticed an issue with my water and someone suggested that brand filter, which I ordered.

So .5 total and .5 free?

That means you just have chlorine present

What kind of test kit are you using? Strips? Or color changing?

Your resin should not be depleated after 3 months from chlorine alone since your membrane would likely need replacing if you had chlorine break through that bad.

I assume the membrane rejection rate is good? Have you checked?

I’m actually surprised it’s not higher.

I’m using the strips that I got from a local pool store

the rejection rate has been the same since the day I installed it
