Is this RTN???

Around 100% success. Everyone's system is different and thus the bacterial strains will and do vary.

I've heard using iodine, bactrial meds, fragging.... Some work, some don't.

Fragging above the infection, discarding the infected tissue and skeleton (trying not to release infected tissue/slime into the water collum to prevent other corals from getting it. Oh and it can spread!) is key.

Sounds like it didn't work for you and it did for me. Doesn't mean anything. It's consistent with others experiences. Hit or miss.

Wow. You have had the most success with that than any other person I've ever spoken to or read about on forums. How many times to hit that near 100%?

You are spreading slime everytime, as is the coral. The offending bacteria is also already present elsewhere on the coral, just more concentrated around tissue loss.

The aquatic vets team had the most success with the cyanoacrylate/kanamycin or neomycin over the trials, less than 50% success when clipping. Hit or miss for sure. That seems to be the more common success rate. I hope it continues to work so well for you (or that you don't have to do it at all).

It definitely looks like it just got stung by the duncan. Move one of them away from the other. It will regrow over the area eventually.

Actually check this out guys.... I was looking through older pictures and may have found the culprit. The white tissue in question was rubbing up against this Walt Disney Acro, some how the Acro In question has shifted and shown the sting? Coral warfare?... lol

How should I proceed now??? Just leave it alone??

I hope for your sake this isn't what happened to my tank even though it looks exactly like it. White spot/band disease. 70 +% of my massive acros are gone. Massive means 1 coral larger than 2, 5 gallon buckets, dinner plate table acros.
I listened to others that had no clue about my tank and don't do this and don't do that. I should have listened to myself and maybe I would not have lost so much. I have been away a week and won't be back for another week. I expect a 100% loss when I return. Home Wrecker, Beastmode, WD included.
Good luck and do whatever it takes to stop this quickly.

Not pretty and more advanced but 4 to 5 months ago I had 1 single unexplained spot.
