Is this safe to boost my alk ?

Hi guys my tank has just got to the point where dosing is starting to be required I plan on getting Red Sea reef foundations tomorrow or the following day I just want to boost my alk for the time being is this safe to use dissolved in rodi water ?

You don’t have baking soda? Just bake 2 1/4 cups at 350 for an hour and dissolve in a gallon as per Randy’s recipe.
